Summer Classes

Accelerate Dance & Fitness offers two semi-private classes (2-4 dancers) this summer for experienced dancers. Class will focus on mobilizing areas that are tight, strengthening to help balance the muscles, and basic class technique so that dancers can apply these techniques to their dancing. Class will be customized to the dancers attending each class so that they are truly getting the tools they need to succeed.

Private Lessons

Are you ready to accelerate your dance training? Take your technique to the next level with personalized classes and individual corrections. Accelerate focuses on building sound technique with proper alignment and muscle engagement. Lessons are unique as Becca will evaluate each dancers technique through a simple technique assessment to pinpoint which muscle groups need strengthening, will give releases to the muscle groups over working, and strengthening exercises to target the correct muscle groups so the dancer can see results faster than by simply taking class alone. It is also her goal to help dancers understand their technique on a deeper level by gaining better awareness of each dancers unique facility. If there are underlying muscular imbalances, Becca strives to correct these imbalances to help dancers have long and successful careers.

Private lessons are available to all dancers from the total novice through pre-professional, as well as children through adults! Semi-private lessons are also available upon request!

Pre-Professional Day Class

Returning for the 2024-2025 season, this class is a must for the serious dancer wanting to pursue a career in the dance industry. In this semi-private class, dancers will gain an immense amount of knowledge about their bodies, their habits, and how to care for their bodies during their career. Each class begins with self mobilization techniques, followed by specific strengthening exercises to help their body stay balanced, concluding with ballet barre and basic center work so that they can learn to apply these concepts to their dancing. This class will not only help dancers become the best they can be, but will help them learn to navigate and care for their bodies throughout their career.

Class is limited to 2-4 dancers. Payment will be due every six weeks. Drop-ins welcome if space is available.

  • Adults, are you ready to do something good for yourself? Join one of Accelerate Dance & Fitness semi-private classes. Classes range from 2-4 people (adults only please) and are offered in 6 week sessions throughout the year. Whether you want a closer look at how you use your core, want to build strength and flexibility, or just want a solid, fun workout, there’s a class for you. Accelerate Dance & Fitness is excited to be adding Pilates, Barre Burn, and a gentle Mobility and Strengthening class to the Fall 2024 schedule for Adults.
